Holy cow, what an amazing show.

I was actually concerned at one point that this would be the first show that year-over-year sales wouldn’t have increased.  This would be the first time that’s happened since my first show.  I was saved on Sunday: I got an offer to do a few cards for an upcoming games.  I will post more about it later in the year, but for now, let me note that my biggest lesson learned this year was about the content.  I’ve come to appreciate the importance of continuously producing new content, especially when it comes to repeat customers.  I need to constantly refresh.

This year, I got to see one of my best friends again, and we had a great time.  The opportunity to reflect on old stories and relive our old gaming experiences through the retelling doesn’t come often enough.

I’ll post more thoughts about the convention scene after I get through PAX.  Until then, here’s another image of the booth.

One thing worth noting: I got a larger booth this year, and it wasn’t nearly as cramped as last year.  At the same time, it didn’t feel too sparse, either.  I think it came out just about right.
