When I was preparing for last year’s PAX, I was shocked to find out that the tickets had sold out in over 20 days, and that I missed my chance to buy them myself. Fortunately, I appealed to the NoobToob family, and was elated to discover that a fellow noobtoober had bought extra passes just in case.
So this year I decided that I would need to stay on top of it, and I did. After a glitch in their sales system on April 25th, Penny Arcade started selling tickets on May 2nd.
That evening, I went to the site and found that they were sold out of the 3 day passes. Not only had they sold out; they sold out in under 6 hours. I considered appealing to NoobToob again, but I wanted to do my due diligence first and try to get one-day passes. Fortunately, I was able to purchase a one-day pass for each day before they sold out as well. So I will be at the show, even if it did cost me $105.
I know, it’s insane, but it’s totally worth it. I can’t wait to see my NoobToob brothers and sisters again this year.
