So apparently there’s been this show on for the last three years called “Batman: The Brave and the Bold.”  Unfortunately, the consequence of getting all of your entertainment through video games, YouTube, and Netflix is that regular television shows often come and go without notice.  This isn’t always a bad thing; there are a lot of shows that I’m pleased to never stumble upon.

In a recent post, I mentioned Batman: The Caped Crusader for the Commodore 64.  One of the things that I liked about that game was the comic book style.  Though it wasn’t much of an action game, it kept the “feel” of the comic book.

In Batman: The Brave and the Bold, however, you get all of the comic book style coupled with a beat’em-up action game.  Also, you get to use additional superheroes, like THe Flash and Booster Gold, to help you along the way.

As I went through the initial stages of the game, I found it to be an enjoyable beat’em-up title.  It’s not great, but it’s not that bad either.  It’s probably one of the better games to use if you want to introduce a younger player to comic-based video games.
